Houtrust offers even more sport and relaxation in our separate gym area, which is spread over 2 floors. The Excite+ cardio line by TechnoGym is the most modern innovation that there is on the market at the moment for cardio fitness. Our TechnoGym line includes: Run-Treadmill, Vario, Synchro, Bike and Skill Row. The Strength line is also from TechnoGym.

You choose which of the (interval) workouts you want to do, or you can ask a professional for assistance and they will make a programme for you. It’s up to you. More information with our Houtrust Team.

Group Circuit Training

Group lessons with a fitness instructor – for 30 minutes you are challenged to achieve your utmost!

Lessons are given on:

Monday evening: 19:00 – 19:30
Wednesday morning: 10:15 – 10:45
Wednesday evening: 19:00 – 19:30
Friday morning: 10.15 – 10.45

The instructor tells you when to change activity. You do two rounds of the whole circuit. During these lessons, that change every month, you will use the following equipment: • Weight Ball • Gym Balls • Steps/”box” • Speed Ladders • Battle Ropes •   •Dumbbells • Skipping Ropes • And more!

The fitness instructor motivates the whole group and makes sure that everyone is challenged to the right level and enjoys what they are doing. At the end of the lesson, your whole body will be well trained. You will notice that your stamina will improve, step by step.

This kind of circuit training offers you a fun, varied and challenging way to keep fit.

VIRTUAL SPINNING

In our (virtual) spinning room on the 2nd floor there are 4 top-of-the-range TechnoGym cycles. Virtual spinning is an energetic way of spinning. Under the guidance of a personal virtual coach, with each session you take on a new challenge. The virtual coach gives you advice about what you have to do going up or down a hill, or if you should speed up a bit. You get the chance to take on different mountain climbs. The beautiful video images and the instructions from your virtual coach ensure that a spinning lesson is a unique experience.

On weekday evenings you can do a workout whenever you like. You need to book a session during the day, as we sometimes rent the room out for meetings, so it is not always available.

If you are a member, this activity is included in your membership, but you can also use a prepaid card to pay.
